Attended
The New School of
Music where I studied with Jascha Brodsky of the Curtis String
Quartet from 1978 to 1980 Graduated from The Manhattan
School of Music with
a BM
in Violin Performance in 1984 My primary teacher was Burton Kaplan.
Attended
the Tanglewood Institute from 1976 to 1980 and studied with members of
the
Boston Symphony, some of my teachers were Joseph Silverstein, the
former
Concertmaster ,Victor Yampolsky and played
In the Tanglewood
Festival under conductors such as Leonard Bernstein, Michael Tilson
Thomas and
Sejia Ozawa. Attended the Aspen Institute from 1981 to
1986 where my teachers were Dorothy Delay and her
assistants. My Suzuki training started in 1990
and I have completed all 10 books Some of my instructors include
Linda Fiore, Linda Case, Ed Sprunger, Marilyn OBoyle and John
Kendall. I currently have a studio of
30 students that are also involved with group
classes. Currently
play with the PA Ballet, Philadelphia Opera Company, The Philly
Pops and
am a regular player at the Atlantic City casinos, with Tony Bennett, Wayne
Newton
and Cher to name a
few.My main focus now is to establish and maintain a Suzuki
studio. I have
taught the Suzuki Method since 1995 and look forward to moving to
Califorrnia.
